Induction cap sealing machines

Why do you require induction cap sealing machines?
There is a wide range of closures available, but to date the conventional bore seal has been the most widely used method of sealing containers. They are easy to fit and inexpensive to manufacture but they do not form hermetic, flexible or even reliable seals as they leak.
Using the latest induction cap sealing technology, it is now possible to create alternative airtight, hermetic seals on the neck of the container. This can produce significant cost saving in the packing process. The seal is strong, flexible and yet easy to remove and provides protection against contamination.

The concept : Induction cap sealing is based on the principle that a conductive material i.e. aluminum foil heats up when exposed to a high frequency magnetic field generated by an induction generator. This process is a non contact process without direct heat transfer.

The process : The wad is placed in the cap by the bottle manufacturer or filler. The bottle then passes through the induction unit after closure. When the bottle passes under the head, the lines of force radiate through the foil and induces current flow in it. This increases the temperature of the foil. The wax layer starts to melt and penetrates into the board. Due to this, the sealing film melts and adheres to the lip of the container. After the seal is broken, the board or foam packing is retained by the cap. This board remains inside the cap and serves as a seal on further use, and aluminum foil is permanently sealed on the rim of mouth of the container.

Containers for induction sealing : Induction sealing can be used with almost any type of cap and containers to provide a tight bond suitable with food, beverages, oil & lubricants, drugs, chemicals & pesticides, pharmaceuticals, etc.
Induction sealing process can be very easily incorporated on an existing filling line from manual filling to the fully automated filling and capping lines. The induction unit can have it's own conveyor or can be mounted on the existing conveyor line.
